Apple planning to use Intel chipsets?
The dispute between Apple and Samsung which is still ongoing, it seems to be colored by issues of unpleasant news, and even further aggravated the situation. Apple reportedly in talks with Intel, and plans to switch from Samsung, go to Intel, to produce chipsets A4 and A5.
Once Intel has developed a chipset and processor that can also be used in smartphones and tablets, now, Intel suggests that they are willing to work with other electronics companies. The decision was apparently attracted Apple tomake chipsets for their products.
Currently, the chipset A4 and A5, which is on the iPhone 4 and iPad 2, is a production of Samsung. In fact, according to news circulating, for the latestgeneration of iPad iPad 3, Apple plans to use Samsung’s retinal display technology, which can produce better picture quality. However, according tosources from Intel, they are not interested when Apple only wanted as aproducer of Intel chipsets only. Because, Intel assumes that the margin of the business is quite low.
Intel reportedly more interested in making chipsets, as well as sellers who can get into Apple‘s mobile devices, iPhone and iPad. Until this news was circulated, Intel actually is in process of developing and perfecting theirchipsets. Intel chipsets promise they will be ready for release in 2013.
